LOXX Fasteners – what to choose?
LOXX® fasteners in stainless steel or brass hold firmly under load thanks to their automatic lock. You will find them on handbags, bags and backpacks, guitar straps, tarpaulins and covers. The upper and lower parts are sold separately; to fit them you need a 10 mm hole punch and a wrench. For thick leather (up to 4 mm) use the high washer so the thread catches along its full length.

The outer height of the piece, that is how far it stands out on the finished item. On ornaments and clasps it decides whether the item still folds and whether it catches on things; it is not tied to the strap size.
The width of the strap the piece fits, not the size of the fitting itself. The values therefore match the widths of webbing and straps we sell: for 20 mm webbing look for 20 mm.
