Parameter guide

Plastic Cord End Caps: what the parameters mean and how to choose the right values.

The diameter of the hole for the cord or rope. Choose it by the cord diameter, not by the eye of its end fitting: a loose hole lets the stopper slip, a tight one chafes the cord and threads harder.

The length of the piece itself along its main axis. On end caps and clamps it says how much of the rope or strap they cover; on ornaments how much room they take along the strap.

The width of the strap the piece fits, not the size of the fitting itself. The values therefore match the widths of webbing and straps we sell: for 20 mm webbing look for 20 mm.
