LOXX® Fastener – Nickel-Plated Brass

Installation and Accessories

⚠️ Warning: The fastening consists of two parts (top/bottom part). To complete the fastening, you need to purchase both parts separately.

1. Punching holes: To create a hole, use a punch with a diameter of 10 mm, which can be purchased separately #3777-14, #KEM/LSHP100 or as part of a set #24690, #KEM/LSHP/14SET.
2. Assembly and tightening: For occasional tightening, the small wrench #04492.05000 is ideal. For regular work, we recommend the large wrench #04500.00000. The fastener can be used on materials up to 3 mm thick.

XL Version for Leather up to 6 mm Thick

For thick leather and belts up to 6 mm in thickness, choose the LOXX® top part in the XL version. The longer thread and taller washer provide a secure fit without the need to locally thin (skive) the leather. A standard fastener would only engage a few threads on material this thick and could gradually work itself loose.

• Correct installation: Tighten the thread until the retaining teeth on the washer are fully embedded in the leather, ensuring the connection stays firm and does not loosen over time.
• Thin materials: Do not use the XL version on leather thinner than 2 mm. The fastener cannot be tightened properly, leaving the connection loose. In this case, choose the standard size instead.
