Parameter guide

Webbing Reduction Loops: what the parameters mean and how to choose the right values.

Inner width indicates the passage size for a strap or belt. Choose hardware with an inner width equal to or greater than your strap width.

The inner width of the second, wider slot. A reducing keeper joins two different webbing widths, so this figure belongs to the wider side; the narrower one is described by the inner width parameter.

Inner height indicates the height of the passage through the hardware. It determines the maximum material thickness (or multiple layers) you can thread through.

The diameter of the round stock the piece is bent or formed from. Thicker stock takes more load, but eats more room in the slot and prints through more under the webbing. It is not added to the inner dimension once: the outer size is the inner one plus twice this diameter.
