Bull Snaps – what to choose?

Specially designed snap hook for use on horses, cattle or other livestock. Its design allows for easy and quick attachment and detachment, but is also well designed to prevent accidental opening. Its solid body withstands repeated use.

Parameter guide

Bull Snaps: what the parameters mean and how to choose the right values.

The dimension of the whole piece, end to end. It tells you how much room the fitting takes on the finished item; whether it fits the webbing is decided by Eye width. The whole piece is measured, not just its working part, so two pieces with the same eye width can differ in length.

Inner width of the snap hook eye – determines the maximum width of material you can thread through. Choose an eye the same width or slightly wider than your strap, rope or leather lace.

Gate opening indicates how wide the snap hook opens. It determines the maximum diameter of the ring or D-ring the hook can clip onto.
