Bag Clasps & Closures – what to choose?
Our bag clasps come in a range of sizes, shapes and finishes – from simple bag clasps through swing bag locks and complete clasp sets to aluminium G-hooks. Depending on the type, they are fitted with rivets, screws or bending prongs; the G-hook is threaded onto the webbing.
When choosing, pay attention above all to the dimensions of the clasp and the thickness of the material you want to fit it into. With some types, leather that is too thick can make assembly impossible.

Parameter guide
What the parameters mean and how to choose the right values.
The width of the clasp itself, that is, how much room it takes across the flap or strap. For a bag clasp, compare it with the width of the flap; for a G-hook, with the width of the strap. A clasp wider than the flap overhangs its edge.
The outer height of the piece, that is how far it stands out on the finished item. On ornaments and clasps it decides whether the item still folds and whether it catches on things; it is not tied to the strap size.
