LOXX® Fastener – Stainless Steel

Installation and Accessories

⚠️ Warning: The fastening consists of two parts (top/bottom part). To complete the fastening, you need to purchase both parts separately.

1. Punching holes: To create a hole, use a punch with a diameter of 10 mm, which can be purchased separately #KEM/LSHP100 or as part of a set #24690, #KEM/LSHP/14SET.
2. Assembly and tightening: For occasional tightening, use the small wrench #04492.05000. For regular work, we recommend the large wrench #04500.00000. The fastener can be used on materials up to 3 mm thick.
3. Choose the right washer for your material: A standard flat washer is suitable for materials up to 3 mm thick. For thicker full-grain leather (3–4 mm), however, use the LOXX® high washer. A standard washer would only engage a few threads, causing the fastener to loosen over time. The higher-profile washer allows the thread to engage more deeply, creating a secure connection while saving you the time-consuming task of skiving the leather.
