Cow grain leather

Our offer includes premium quality tanned cowhides (leather); so called bottom, belt, saddlery or bag leather. Natural and deeply coloured through; black and brown. They are ideal for collars and saddlery production. Not every leather is suitable for decoration. If the leather is finished with the process of coating, protective coating or paint it cannot be decorated. The natural tanned cowhides are the most suitable leathers for decoration. It is done with the use of vegetable tanning extract from tree barks, wood, leaves derived from quebracho, mimosa, oak, etc. Chromed leather tend to be cheaper containing chromium salts and are not suitable for decoration. It is necessary such a leather to prepare prior to decoration. The dry skin is very difficult to decorate. The leather should be evenly moistened (not wet!) with sponge. Then we should wait a moment once the leather will absorp the watter and then we can use stamps and other embossing tools.
