What the parameters mean and how to choose the right values.
The inner width defines the internal opening size of the halter square. Choose it according to the strap or webbing width that will pass through the square.
The inner height indicates the internal clearance of the halter square. Choose it according to the height of the strap or belt so it can move freely through the square without deformation.
The outer width of the square indicates how massive the halter square is overall. This value does not represent the width of the strap passage.
The outer height of the square, that is the full size of the piece from top to bottom. For a halter you choose by the inner dimensions the straps pass through; this figure says how much room the square takes up on the halter.
