Belt buckle 38 mm – Brushed Gun Metal

A belt buckle in brushed gun metal, with two prongs and a roller, 38 mm internal width. The muted dark sheen sits well with dark clothing and shoes and doesn’t pull attention the way polished chrome does.

What two prongs mean for your build

• The pull spreads across two holes – the strap sits straighter when tightened and the holes stretch more slowly. You pay for it in precision: both rows need the same spacing along the whole length, or the second prong won’t seat. The prong is ø 4.5 mm, so punch with a 5 mm hole punch #KEM/LSHP50.
• Roller on the bottom bar – the strap rolls over it as you tighten instead of dragging, so the edges of the holes hold up longer.
• Brushed surface – it hides fingerprints and the hairline scratches of daily wear, so the buckle keeps a clean look for longer.
• Zinc die casting – strong enough for everyday wear and it keeps the production cost down. For heavy work belts or hard-loaded webbing, go for solid brass or stainless steel instead.
• Gun metal wears through where it rubs – wherever the buckle rubs constantly against the strap, the dark layer lightens over time. The finish also contains nickel, so for customers with a diagnosed contact allergy offer stainless steel or brass straight away.

The matching set is the screw posts #SPH-5 BGM and the flat loops #ZQT2710/30 BGM in the same brushed finish. Total buckle length is 52 mm, allow for it when you cut the strap to length.
