I use Renia’s Top Fit when I need things to hold even in situations where everything is damp, slippery, or less than ideal. This adhesive works even on wet leather, which is a huge advantage in saddlery or shaping, where the pieces are often moistened. The bond sets almost instantly, so I can keep working without delays. Of course, there is a chemical smell, but with a solvent-based adhesive I take that as part of the package.
I don’t use Top Fit every day, but when I do, I know exactly why. It’s one of those helpers that saves the day when others fail. And even though it isn’t the cheapest option, I’ve never regretted having it at hand. Some tools and materials in the workshop simply have to prove their worth and this glue does that effortlessly.
