Which glue for which material

Renia Colle de Cologne
We recommend
Solvent-based contact adhesive, all-purpose
Why this one: fits both materials (Veg-tan leather + Rubber) · all-purpose, bonds PVC / vinyl too · maximum strength when activated with a heat gun
  1. Clean and degrease the surfaces, roughen smooth leather.
  2. Brush a thin coat on BOTH parts and let it dry until it no longer feels tacky (about 10 min).
  3. Place the parts exactly, you can't adjust them later. Press hard or tap with a hammer.

Open time 5–45 min · Contact adhesive: apply to both parts · Flammable, ventilate. · Add-on: Renia thinner (thickened glue, cleaning).

Holds: we recommend it With surface treatment: holds only after you treat the surface first, the note in the cell says how Not recommended: our glue won't bond it A contact adhesive is applied to both parts, so it has to suit both materials.
