Renia Aquilim 315 Water-Based Adhesive: 200 ml
Renia Aquilim 315 is a water-based adhesive that bonds firmly, flexibly, and without any odor. No solvents, no risks – just clean work and peace of mind in your workshop or studio.
- Health and nature-friendly: Bond with confidence in schools, hospitals, and small workshops. No fumes, no fire hazard.
- Time for precision: Parts can be comfortably bonded during the long open time of 30–60 minutes. Work without unnecessary stress.
- Flexibility that lasts: The bond stays soft and doesn't crack, even with repeated bending. Perfect for insoles, linings, or flexible shoe parts.
- Easy cleanup: Tools are easily cleaned with water as long as the glue hasn’t dried. No chemicals, no worries.
- Errors allowed: You can reactivate the bond anytime with heat, such as with a hot air gun, to fix small imperfections.
When is it most useful?
- Bonding leathers, foams (PUR, EVA, Poron), cork, felt, wood, and a variety of plastics.
- Making luxury wallets, shoes, belts, or orthopedic insoles.
When is it not suitable?
- Use on unspecified types of plastics without prior testing.
- Applications where immediate high bond strength is required (the adhesive has a longer open time).
For neat and precise glue application, we recommend the Reusable Glue Spreaders #3431-00.

Expert's opinion

Craft isn't just about feel – it's about understanding the material and the process. If it works in my workshop, it'll work in yours.
What caught my attention with Aquilim 315 was how pleasant it is to work with. It’s completely odorless, so I can use it at my work desk in the evening without needing to air out the whole apartment the next day. For everyday leather goods, it's absolutely sufficient the bond is flexible, strong, and hasn’t let me down even under heavier stress. Plus, it becomes transparent very quickly, so there’s no endless waiting involved.
It’s true that it reaches full strength only after a few days and that it doesn’t tolerate freezing temperatures well. That’s something to keep in mind when planning your work or storing the glue. But like any quality adhesive, it has its own conditions and I’m happy to respect them in exchange for a reliable result. Compared to cheaper alternatives, Aquilim may feel a bit more “premium” in terms of price. I see it as an investment in a solid bond that saves me from potential complaints or parts coming undone later on.
I evaluate objectively what others only guess.
