This 68 mm zipper pull with a cord speeds up and cuts the cost of final assembly for sports gear. Just thread the cord through the zipper slider's eye, so you don't need pliers or any other tools. Compared to metal cord ends, fitting zippers takes a fraction of the time.
It's made of just two connected parts – a sturdy textile cord and a molded polypropylene grip measuring 8 x 26 mm. At 4 grams, it won't weigh down a backpack even if you fit twenty zippers with it.
Why choose a plastic zipper pull
- Doesn't slip in your fingers – the plastic end makes it easy to operate the zipper even in winter gloves or with wet hands.
- Completely silent while moving – no metal means no annoying clinking against the slider when walking or running.
The design of this zipper pull is purely technical. It fits right in on outdoor backpacks, travel luggage, hip packs, and tactical gear. On elegant handbags, though, it clashes with a formal look – for those, go with an all-metal zipper pull or a leather tab instead.
This plastic zipper pull isn't suited for heavily loaded zippers with a stiff action, where extreme pulling force risks tearing the cord.
Check the eye size on your slider
Before going into production, check that the slider's eye is large enough for the cord to pass through easily. The pull threads without any trouble through all sliders in our range – it even fits our smallest slider #3589089 with a 4 × 2 mm opening.
