An unsecured rope end frays, and tape on it looks like a last-minute fix. This brass cord end cap with an inner diameter of 12 mm hides the cut or melted end of your rope inside metal, keeps it in shape, and gives you a neat finish for leashes, collars, bags, handles, or decorative hangings.

How to use: Cut the rope straight, and if you like, lightly melt the end. Degrease both the inside of the end cap and the rope. Glue with a hot glue gun or trusty Loctite #8142575. Let it cure no "let’s see if I can pull it off right away" impatience.
