Stainless Steel Belt Buckle 40 mm – Brushed

A stainless steel buckle (AISI 304) with two prongs for a 40 mm strap, brushed finish. The brush doesn’t act as a mirror, so fingerprints and hairline scratches from daily wear show far less than on polished chrome. Stated load capacity is 500 kg.

Where two prongs pay off

• The pull spreads across two holes – on work and tool belts that carry weight all day, the holes stretch more slowly than under a single prong.
• Stainless, not plated – the colour is the material itself rather than an applied layer, so there is nothing to wear through. The buckle takes sweat, rain and a wash.
• Prong ø 5.2 mm – punch the holes with a 6 mm hole punch #KEM/LSHP60 in two parallel rows. The spacing has to hold along the whole strap, otherwise one prong seats before the other.
• Total length 73 mm – the buckle is markedly taller than a standard 40 mm frame and needs more room at the end of the strap. Check that before you cut the leather.

This buckle has no roller, so the strap slides over a fixed bar and tightening is harder on very stiff leather. The nickel-plated screw post #SPH-4 matches it in colour.
