This buckle works as a suspender slide for elastic straps. Instead of a pin, it uses a flip-down clamping mechanism. The strap is secured by the flat pressure of the clamp, so the material remains intact and the length can be adjusted with millimetre precision without punching any holes.

Unlike standard slip-through buckles, where the strap is held only by friction, this design uses active clamping pressure. Even thin or slippery materials stay firmly in place. The single bottom slot and fold-down top section also make threading and guiding the strap faster during production.

Things to watch out for during assembly

  • Before snapping the buckle shut, make sure the strap is perfectly straight. If the clamp teeth grip the material at an angle, the edges may fray.
  • The mechanism applies localised pressure, so it may leave surface marks on very delicate or soft fabrics.
  • One key limitation is the maximum material thickness of 3 mm.
