Kemovan Burnishing Tool Set

Three tools, flawless edges for every project. Right now, you can feel that rough leather edge turning into a silky-smooth surface under your fingertips. With this set of three Kemovan burnishers made from ebony wood, you’ve got a tool for every type of edge – from delicate wallets and handbags to hefty belts and collars.

Why ebony wood?
Ebony isn’t just a symbol of precision and luxury. It’s an extremely hard and dense wood that generates just the right amount of heat when hand-burnishing. This heat, combined with #Tokonole CL 120g or #2620-01, seals leather pores faster and strengthens the edge more efficiently than common plastic substitutes or softer woods.

• One set, many profiles: No more searching for the right groove. These three top-notch burnishers cover everything from polishing to shaping, bending, and joining edges. You’ll always have the right profile to match your edge thickness. The result? A clean shape with no creasing or distortion.
• Absolute control: Unlike motorized or plastic tools, solid wood gives you 100% control over pressure and direction. You’ll appreciate this especially for detailed work or thicker leather, where precision is what sets a unique piece apart from mass production.
• Ergonomics that won’t tire you out: These tools feel pleasantly warm in your hand and offer a secure grip. They won’t slip and let you apply exactly the amount of force your leather needs.

Set contents and tool dimensions:

• Thick rounded burnisher: length 140 mm, width 23 mm
• Thin rounded burnisher: length 150 mm, width 8 mm
• Square burnisher: length 60 mm, thickness 30 mm

Note: Keep in mind that precise hand-burnishing is slower and takes more energy than machine solutions. For large batches, a motorized burnisher is more efficient. But for custom work, where a finished edge is your calling card, this set is an absolute must. (Since this is natural ebony wood, each piece is unique and its grain may vary slightly.)
