Coated zinc plated steel rope clamp is an ideal choice for joining 4–16 mm thick rope. It is designed with strength of the join in mind essential when making leads and longe lines for horses. To achieve a reliable join, it is necessary to combine the clamp with other methods (such as welding or sewing through).
Attaching the clamp to a rope is simple and can be done by hand using a rubber mallet #19255 and hard pad, or using a press with our special die #0001-06.
The ⌀ MIN and ⌀ MAX values in the table indicate the minimum and maximum diameters of the ropes to be joined. To join two 6 mm diameter ropes, you must select size 6 mm (not 12 mm).
