This metal clip lets you produce a show-ring quality leash from any webbing or soft leather strap, in two shakes. Just measure out what length is needed for the neck loop (collar) and clamp the clip down. The remaining length of the strap provides a leash end for your hand. The strong spring of the clip ensures that the loop thus created will stay put, yet will yield to a strong pull and so prevent any potential injury to the dog.
To pass the webbing through the clip easier, select a clip 2 mm wider than is the actual width of the webbing. A 12 mm wide clip can be used for straps no more than 1 mm thick.
