The Cobra® FM with an integrated tri-glide from AustriAlpin is made for collars for small and medium breeds. The slide sits in the buckle body, so the collar length can be adjusted without a second piece of hardware.
The body is 7075 aluminium alloy, the one the aerospace industry reaches for when it needs strength at low weight. The anodised surface does not corrode, and the matte finish keeps scratches from showing. CNC machining means the mechanism seats precisely and does not catch.
The webbing slot is 20–38 mm wide and the buckle weighs from 18 g. It only opens when both side buttons are pressed at once, so a dog brushing against a branch will not undo the collar.
