Use a metal eyelet with an inside diameter of ø 3.6 mm to reinforce holes in leather or fabrics. You can set the eyelets with the #3990-00 press and a die; without a press, use a hand setter. Choose the size of the die or setter according to the size of the eyelet. You will find tools of the correct size among the products recommended below. Order washers for the eyelets (designation ‘W’) separately. Choose the washer by the first number in the eyelet designation: eyelet E10 takes washer W10, eyelet E6 takes washer W6. The quoted price is for the entire pack.
TIP: For hard, stiff materials, you can use the eyelet without a washer. For other applications we recommend a washer to keep the eyelet from tearing out. The video below the picture will show you how to choose the correct size and how to attach the eyelet properly.
