Cowhide splits made from vegetable-tanned leather are dyed with an opaque finish and ready to use straight away. We offer them in 7 colours and thicknesses from 1.2 to 4 mm, and they suit belts, collars, soft bags, wallets and covers. Unlike full-grain leather, splits have a uniform look and a lower price, yet are still strong enough for many products. They make sense where price matters more than the patina of full-grain leather.
