Installation and Notes for Manufacturers
Glued connection: The hardware has no secondary mechanical locking system (no set screw or rivet). Secure the leather inside the clasp with adhesive only. Trim the end of the leather precisely to the internal dimensions of the clasp. Degrease the bonding surface before applying the adhesive.
Recommended Materials and Supplies
- Flat and Square Leather Cords: Ready-made leather cords that match the selected clasp sizes precisely. You can also cut your own leather to size.
- Loctite 401 adhesive #8142575: A proven adhesive for securing leather straps inside the stainless steel socket.
