Magnetic Clasp for Bracelets – Black

This stainless steel clasp is designed for making leather bracelets. Its smooth, rounded shape helps reduce the risk of snagging on clothing.

Material and Features

• AISI 316 stainless steel: Resistant to corrosion, perspiration and salt water. This makes the hardware suitable for use by the sea or on boats.
• Weight 5–7 g: The low weight keeps the overall weight of the bracelet to a minimum.

Installation and Notes for Manufacturers

Glued connection: The hardware has no secondary mechanical locking system (no set screw or rivet). The leather is secured inside the clasp exclusively with adhesive. Trim the end of the leather precisely to the internal dimensions of the clasp. Degrease the bonding surface before applying the adhesive.

Recommended Materials and Supplies

• Flat Leather Laces: Ready-made leather strips that match the selected clasp sizes precisely. You can also cut your own leather to size.
• Loctite adhesive #8142575: A proven adhesive for securing leather straps inside the stainless steel socket.

Note: The 8 mm size comes in a matte black finish. The 10 mm and 12 mm sizes are available in a glossy black finish.
