A specification can tell you plenty. The workbench tells you the rest, so that is where I test it.
Simple, functional, and well-thought-out – that’s exactly how I’d describe this set for riveting magnetic closures. A punch tool included in the kit? Genius move – no need to hunt for extra tools. A double-sided anvil? Bravo. One anvil instead of two saves not only materials and workspace but also your wallet. And yes, less waste = a better feeling for all of us – the environment will thank us (and we can treat ourselves to an extra coffee 😃).
The anvil ensures the plates around the magnet stay flat – no warping or unevenness. Everything fits like a glove. I also appreciate that each magnet size comes with a matching rivet setter and anvil. A universal version simply wouldn’t cut it here, so it’s great they didn’t try to compromise. The smallest magnets work well for coin pockets in wallets, while the larger ones suit bags and backpacks well. Overall? Practical, efficient, and refreshingly straightforward.
