This steel end cap with ring is designed to finish straps when making neck lanyards or keychains. Available in 25 mm and 32 mm widths with a black finish. Simply insert the end of the material into the slot and press the cap closed. No sewing or riveting needed.
Construction and assembly
The steel piece includes a ring for attaching keys or small snap hooks directly. The end cap works with both polypropylene webbing and leather straps up to a recommended thickness of 3 mm.
- Press-fit assembly: To close the cap, you'll need flat-nose pliers #PLIER RED/26X203.
- Internal teeth: The teeth on the inside bite into the inserted material when pressed. This keeps the strap firmly in place during everyday key use.
- Usage limits: This end cap is suited for keychains, pendants, and accessory attachments on luggage. It is not intended for load-bearing collars or other products subject to high tensile stress.
