95 mm long brass snap hook with 20 mm diameter round eye swivel for threading through round leather or rope. Cast in brass, this snap hook contains no iron, so it will never rust. Rain, frost or an occasional dip in the sea won’t harm it – just rinse it with fresh water after salt water. For permanent marine use, choose marine bronze or 316 stainless steel instead: ordinary brass slowly loses zinc and becomes brittle during long-term exposure to salt water.
