Solid Brass Belt Buckle 45 mm

Cast brass, polished finish and two prongs in a 45 mm internal width. This buckle is aimed at wide leather belts where the hardware is meant to be seen. Brass keeps a warm tone and patinates over time, so a year on the belt no longer looks like it did the day you finished it.

• Two prongs spread the pull across two holes – the strap doesn’t twist around a single point under the buckle and the holes stretch more slowly. It shows on a belt worn tight every day.
• Cast, not bent from wire – the frame is one piece, with no joint that could be prised open. The 56 mm total length tells you how much room the buckle takes at the end of the strap.
• Prong ø 4.2 mm – punch the holes with a 5 mm hole punch #KEM/LSHP50, in two parallel rows at the same spacing. Uneven spacing is the most common reason a double prong buckle only fastens with a struggle.
• No roller – the strap slides over a fixed bar. On very stiff leather, tightening is noticeably harder than with a roller buckle.

TIP: Brass naturally oxidizes and darkens over time – it’s not a defect, just the metal reacting with air. You can restore its shine with #SITOL300G paste. To prevent darkening, apply the clear lacquer #637005/GLOSSY.
