A lovely brass item, originally invented for marine use. It is designed to ensure a quick and secure connection. Inglefield clip, as this beauty is called, consists of two parts (one with a integral eye, the other with a swivel eye). These can be engaged or disengaged only if their openings are aligned exactly. This simple trick prevents unwanted disengagement. Total length of the two connected parts is 59 and 79 mm. There is a truly wide range of applications for the Inglefield clip, for example, in haberdashery and canine products (collars, purses, bags), as well as in paragliding or yachting (fastening of flags and sails).

TIP: Brass naturally oxidizes and darkens over time – it’s not a defect, just the metal reacting with air. You can restore its shine with #SITOL300G paste. To prevent darkening, apply the clear lacquer #637005/GLOSSY.
