This spring is an essential component of every minimalist wallet of the dollar clip type. With precise craftsmanship, it offers smooth opening and reliable grip to securely hold your banknotes. The adjustable grip and opening angle of 66°–86° can be easily fine-tuned using the screw thread – making customization simple, though slight loosening may reduce the spring's closing strength.
The spring is easily inserted into a designated space in the wallet, where the slot must be tight enough to hold the spring firmly in place. For added security, we recommend using #Renia 110 glue, which ensures durable and long-lasting attachment without compromising the spring's functionality.

Craft isn't just about feel – it's about understanding the material and the process. If it works in my workshop, it'll work in yours.
When making a wallet with this spring, the main rule is to choose your approach. Either focus on maximum precision so the spring fits securely in a carefully sewn slot, or use glue to make your work a bit easier. I usually measure the spring directly during production – wrapping it in leather, marking precise stitching points, and then hoping it all fits perfectly. When it does, it’s a small victory.
Remember, leather thickness affects stitching placement, so taking notes on a template can save you a lot of time and frustration. And if you want your wallet to be truly top-notch, avoid large rounded corners. Sharp corners protect the edges of your banknotes and give the wallet a clean, minimalist design. Now, it’s time to get started – good luck!
