Double cap saddlery rivet with bite (a very useful notch near the tip of the stem) that will speed up the riveting process, primarily for belts, collars and harnesses, and increase the strength of the join. Double cap rivets are used where both sides of the rivet will be visible, or where a rivet comes in contact with other surfaces (purse and other handles, leashes, collars, harnesses, …). The rivet is specially designed to rivet single-sided swivel #J/13 CP. The price listed is for the entire package (1000 pcs)!
For proper riveting, it is important to choose the right tool both for creating the hole and for setting the rivet itself. For making the hole, we recommend punch #KEM/LSHP20. For riveting using the hand press #3990-00, use dies #3997-20 Z. For manual riveting, tools #8101-20 Z or #RS/6x100 are suitable.
