Double cap saddlery rivet with bite (a very useful notch near the tip of the stem) that will speed up the riveting process, primarily for belts, collars and harnesses, and increase the strength of the join. Double cap rivets are used where both sides of the rivet will be visible, or where a rivet comes in contact with other surfaces (purse and other handles, leashes, collars, harnesses, …). Specially designed for solid brass swivels #BOJ/17, #BOJ/20 and #BOJ/25. The price listed is for the entire package (1000 pcs)!
To set using the #3990-00 hand press, use the #3997-20 Z die. For hand setting, the #8101-20 Z setter is used.
The size of piston or setter must be selected to match the size of the rivet. Or you can find the proper riveting tool among the products recommended below. The correct tool will be displayed for the rivet size that you choose.
Info: If the rivet is rubbed intensely, the gold finish may wear away and a silver layer may appear on the surface. This does not mean that the rivet is not brass.
