This medium-strength, universal adhesive is specially designed for locking and sealing metal threads to prevent accidental loosening caused by vibration or shock.
Loctite® 243 can be used on a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum and galvanized metal. Application is simple and clean. Simply shake the product well, apply a few drops of the adhesive to the bottom third of the thread, and tighten the screw. Don't worry if you need to unscrew the screw later; it is possible, but only when you decide it is appropriate, for example, during replacement or repair.
