    Extremely hard surface that resists intensive mechanical stress. Scratches and abrasion appear minimally even after extended active use.

    Strong protection even in humid and demanding environments. The material under the finish stays protected even with frequent water contact and adverse weather.

  • Nickel

    No

    The finish contains no nickel in any layer. A safe choice for allergy sufferers and for products intended for direct contact with sensitive skin.

Damp conditions Fully waterproof Finish withstands even permanent contact with water including submersion. Water does not damage it, change its colour or structure. Reliable even in permanently wet environments.
Aging Stable Long-term holds its original appearance — colour, gloss and structure. Even after months of regular use it looks virtually the same as new.
Process PVD Metal or ceramic layer deposited in a vacuum by vapour deposition. Very thin but exceptionally hard. Enables unusual colour effects that other processes cannot achieve.

How neo-chrome is made

PVD: in a vacuum chamber, a wafer-thin layer of titanium compounds is deposited onto the hardware. The rainbow shimmer comes from light refracting on the layer, not from any dye.

What it gives the product

A shimmer that shifts from silver through blue to purple depending on the viewing angle, an extremely hard surface, full waterproofing and no nickel.

When to choose it and when not to

Bold, eye-catching products. There's just one downside: price – it's the most technologically demanding finish we offer.

How it ages

PVD layers are among the hardest surfaces there are; the shimmer survives years of use.

What it pairs with

Black and dark blue webbing let the rainbow effect stand out; less is more here – one iridescent element per product.
