## Description and construction

Replacement punches ø 3–4 mm for the manual press #3990-00 with the punching die #21-1700-HMA-set, or for the steel handle #21-HPHSTP-975-NO. They make clean holes in waterproof webbing and thick leather. For tightening, we’ve included a flat wrench in the package.

Quick diameter swap: no need to change the whole tool when you’re making a batch of collars or belts.
Keeps its size even in tough materials: no wonky holes, no wrestling with leather or waterproof webbing.
No clogged holes: polished interior and straight cutting edge keep scraps from getting stuck. Your punch also stays sharp longer.
Most common uses? Holes for belts, collars, snaps, or rivets on leashes. All at your own pace.

## Limits and maintenance

* Contact with water can cause corrosion, swelling, mould or other damage. Keep the material dry and dry it promptly if it becomes wet.
* The bare material has no useful corrosion resistance. Choose a protective finish when the product may come into contact with moisture or sweat.
* Regular treatment, oiling or impregnation helps preserve the material. Follow the care instructions for the complete product, because the required method and interval can vary.
* Without protection, both function and appearance deteriorate over time. Typical signs include colour loss, embrittlement or cracking, a rougher surface, rust or white corrosion products.
