## Description and construction

Strength that keeps its word and your leash.  Trigger snap made from marine bronze doesn’t compromise: with a load capacity of 188 kg and a safety lock to prevent accidental opening, it protects not just your products, but your reputation too. And it still looks so good, it could walk the runway at a designer leash show.

Smart safety: The lock stays closed until you say otherwise. You can be sure the shackle won’t pop open on its own during training or in the heat of the moment.
Opens under pressure: Need to release quickly, even if your dog is pulling like a freight train? No problem: the shackle opens even under full load. Handy for training and for those unexpected situations.
Clear force management: Two eyes: one for the leash, one for the collar. You’re in control right away, with both leash and dog exactly where you want them.
Your gear stays put: The collar stays attached to the leash when you open it. The dog runs, but your gear stays with you.
Mud and saltwater? No problem: Marine bronze resists corrosion and extreme weather. If you make leashes for rain, mud, or the beach, this is your element.

The shackle weighs 81 g and is best suited for medium and large breeds. If you need a lighter option for the tiniest dogs, go for aluminum or plastic instead.

## Limits and maintenance

* The finish does not increase corrosion resistance. Either the underlying material does not need it, or the finish is purely aesthetic.
* Resists daily use even with active dogs. The surface holds its original appearance for a long time, even when in contact with straps, snaps or other hard surfaces.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
