    Fixed position on the strap: This practical element is attached to a harness or collar using a strap threaded through the bottom opening – ensuring the hardware stays firmly in place and does not twist during use.
    Convenient attachment: The upper opening serves for quick and secure attachment of the lead, which thanks to the triangular shape always remains in the optimal position and ready for action.
    Material protection: The wide, flat base distributes the load across the full width of the strap, eliminating wrinkling and significantly extending the lifespan of leather and textile materials.
    Wide variability: Depending on the width of your material and the dog’s weight, you can choose from several size options so the hardware perfectly matches your design.

Best used for: As a design upgrade instead of a D-ring on collars and as the top anchor point for a leash on the back section of a harness.

Not recommended for: Due to the internal crossbar, it is not suitable for joining three free harness straps at one point. For extremely heavy working breeds under constant pulling load, we recommend choosing a stainless steel variant instead.


## Limits and maintenance

* Handles typical outdoor conditions without issue — rain, mud, moisture, sweat. No need to dry or treat specially after every water contact.
* Reliably protects the underlying material during typical outdoor use — rain, dew, occasional wetting. May not be sufficient for permanently wet environments.
* Handles normal everyday wear. At exposed points — where regular friction or contact with other metals occurs — traces of wear may appear over time.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
