## Description and construction

Metal Tri glide with carefully finished smooth edges. Used most often as a tightening or shortening component. Excellent for use in making luggage (trunks, backpacks, purses, bags and cases) or sporting (suspension webbing etc.) and canine equipment (collars). The parameter values shown in the table refer to the inside height/width of each opening, not to overall dimensions of the tri-glide buckle. Choose from sizes 50 mm.

## Limits and maintenance

* Tolerates occasional contact with rain, wet grass or damp hands. Regular soaking accelerates visible wear, so dry the surface after it becomes wet.
* Provides a temporary barrier against moisture. Works well in dry environments, but protection weakens over time with regular contact with water or sweat.
* Suitable for normal everyday use. Traces of wear may gradually appear at exposed points with regular friction or contact with other metal parts.
* At points of regular friction (typically the buckle edge, snap contact point or strap) the finish gradually wears through and the base material shows beneath.
