## Description and construction

Metal Tri glide with perfectly smooth finished edges. Used most often as a tightening or shortening component. Excellent for use in making luggage (trunks, backpacks, purses, bags and cases) or sporting (suspension webbing etc.) and canine equipment (collars). The parameter values shown in the table refer to the inside height/width of each opening, not to overall dimensions of the tri-glide buckle. Choose from sizes 16–50 mm.


## Limits and maintenance

* Tolerates contact with water — rain, wet grass, damp hands. With regular soaking the finish ages faster and loses appearance. Better to dry after wetting.
* Provides a temporary barrier against moisture. Works well in dry environments, but protection weakens over time with regular contact with water or sweat.
* Thin decorative coating that gradually wears through with regular wear and friction. Wear shows fairly quickly at points where buckle or snap contacts the strap, ring or fur.
* At points of regular friction — typically the buckle edge, snap contact point or strap — the finish gradually wears through and the base material shows beneath.
