## Description and construction

Luxury collar made of ø 2.5 mm brass snake chain with welded end rings, intended for dog shows. Does not break the clean lines of the dog, and the snake pattern does not tear out hair. You can choose from 5 lengths of chain, depending on the head circumference of your dog. If you measure 50 cm where the dog’s head is widest, you must choose the 50-cm chain, or a longer one. Shorter collars would not fit over the dog’s head.

Note

This is a show collar without any spikes, intended to fit loosely around the head of the dog, not for everyday use, but for the show ring. A good handler does not cause the dog discomfort.


## Limits and maintenance

* Tolerates contact with water — rain, wet grass, damp hands. With regular soaking the finish ages faster and loses appearance. Better to dry after wetting.
* Provides a temporary barrier against moisture. Works well in dry environments, but protection weakens over time with regular contact with water or sweat.
* Thin decorative coating that gradually wears through with regular wear and friction. Wear shows fairly quickly at points where buckle or snap contacts the strap, ring or fur.
* At points of regular friction — typically the buckle edge, snap contact point or strap — the finish gradually wears through and the base material shows beneath.
