## Description and construction

Precision is your calling card. The Diamond Sharpener for Punches ø 1–5 mm from Kemovan gets your edge back in shape faster than you can find a repair shop. Just a heads up the sharpener is a specialist for fine touch-ups. If your punch is already twisted or cracked, don’t expect miracles. Always use light, controlled pressure to keep the diameter exactly as you need it.

Clean, burr-free round holes even after punching through hundreds of pieces of leather edges stay sharp, smooth, and precise. Every hole looks the same, whether you’re running a production line or crafting each piece by hand.
Diamond grit material comes off evenly, the edge stays cool and doesn’t deform. Compared to sandpaper, you work faster and with less hassle.
Recommended use with water  less heat, no clogging, smooth operation.

The sharpener is specifically designed for Kemovan Punches #KEM/LSHP20. It is not suitable for punch set #24690.


## Limits and maintenance

* Water causes corrosion, swelling, mould or other damage. Must be dried immediately after wetting, and even then permanent deterioration is a risk.
* Without surface treatment it will start to rust as soon as it comes into contact with moisture. Rust gradually compromises both function and appearance — surface protection is a necessity.
* To keep the material in good condition and looking good, it needs regular attention — treating, oiling or impregnating. Neglect significantly shortens its lifespan.
* Without a protective surface finish it deteriorates functionally and visually over time. Manifests as colour loss, surface roughening or the formation of rust.
