## Description and construction

One move, one click – done. The snap hook with a clamp mechanism lets you attach or detach a leash in a second, even if your hands are full, your fingers are wet, or you’re holding your dog back. The speed and simplicity that leash makers for hunting dogs and sports gear are after.

Lightning-fast one-handed operation – whether you’re out in the field or at the training ground, you won’t waste time wrestling with your hook. Just squeeze, clip, go.
Swiveling round eye – your leash won’t twist, and rope, round leather, or webbing won’t get tangled, which you’ll appreciate especially in the woods or during pulling sports.
Surface finish (chrome plated)  – the hook stands up to rain, mud, and winter, and if you give it a bit of care, it’ll last for years. The surface might pick up a few scratches, but the mechanism keeps running smoothly.

## Limits and maintenance

* Handles typical outdoor conditions without issue — rain, mud, moisture, sweat. No need to dry or treat specially after every water contact.
* Reliably protects the underlying material during typical outdoor use — rain, dew, occasional wetting. May not be sufficient for permanently wet environments.
* Resists daily use even with active dogs. The surface holds its original appearance for a long time, even when in contact with straps, snaps or other hard surfaces.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
