## Description and construction

This cord is carefully braided from 4 strips of high-quality vegetable-tanned cowhide leather. Use it to create unique jewelry, hat decorations, or stylish Western bolo ties. It is sold in practical 10-meter rolls, ensuring you always have enough material for your creations. Each diameter has been thoroughly tested in a certified laboratory, so we know the exact breaking load values. You can find the detailed test report.

Notice:

 The cord may not have the same diameter along its entire length. The ends of the cord should be secured to prevent unraveling. 

Storage Tip:
The braided cord deserves a dry and dark place, away from direct sunlight. UV radiation and high temperatures can damage the material.


## Limits and maintenance

* Tolerates contact with water — rain, wet grass, damp hands. With regular soaking the finish ages faster and loses appearance. Better to dry after wetting.
* The finish does not increase corrosion resistance. Either the underlying material does not need it, or the finish is purely aesthetic.
* Thin decorative coating that gradually wears through with regular wear and friction. Wear shows fairly quickly at points where buckle or snap contacts the strap, ring or fur.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
