## Description and construction

Bestselling saddlery roller buckle with welded joint rated up to 150 kg. The roller facilitates correct tightening and protects the material from wear when the buckle is fastened. Excellent workmanship and strong prong ensure that the the fastened material stays put. Choose from sizes 14 mm.

TIP: Brass products can oxidize and darken as a result. This is not a defect, only a natural characteristic of brass. If you wish to prevent this happening, the surface of the material should be treated with the clear, transparent synthetic varnish #637005/GLOSSY.


## Limits and maintenance

* Tolerates contact with water — rain, wet grass, damp hands. With regular soaking the finish ages faster and loses appearance. Better to dry after wetting.
* Provides a temporary barrier against moisture. Works well in dry environments, but protection weakens over time with regular contact with water or sweat.
* Thin decorative coating that gradually wears through with regular wear and friction. Wear shows fairly quickly at points where buckle or snap contacts the strap, ring or fur.
* At points of regular friction — typically the buckle edge, snap contact point or strap — the finish gradually wears through and the base material shows beneath.
