## Description and construction

This 100 mm long Panic Snap with ø 14 mm eye is an essential accessory for any horse lead. You'll appreciate it most in situations where every second counts. Because this snap hook gives you the ability to unhook your horse under full tension – just pull in the direction of the arrow and your horse is free. Put this on your leash for peace of mind during your adventures with your beloved animal.

TIP: Brass naturally oxidizes and darkens over time – it’s not a defect, just the metal reacting with air. You can restore its shine with #SITOL300G paste. To prevent darkening, apply the clear lacquer #637005/GLOSSY.


## Limits and maintenance

* The finish does not increase corrosion resistance. Either the underlying material does not need it, or the finish is purely aesthetic.
* Resists daily use even with active dogs. The surface holds its original appearance for a long time, even when in contact with straps, snaps or other hard surfaces.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
