## Description and construction

This spring is an essential component of every minimalist wallet of the dollar clip type. With precise craftsmanship, it offers smooth opening and reliable grip to securely hold your banknotes. The adjustable grip and opening angle of 66°–86° can be easily fine-tuned using the screw thread – making customization simple, though slight loosening may reduce the spring's closing strength.

The spring is easily inserted into a designated space in the wallet, where the slot must be tight enough to hold the spring firmly in place. For added security, we recommend using #Renia 110 glue, which ensures durable and long-lasting attachment without compromising the spring's functionality.


## Limits and maintenance

* Handles typical outdoor conditions without issue — rain, mud, moisture, sweat. No need to dry or treat specially after every water contact.
* Reliably protects the underlying material during typical outdoor use — rain, dew, occasional wetting. May not be sufficient for permanently wet environments.
* Handles normal everyday wear. At exposed points — where regular friction or contact with other metals occurs — traces of wear may appear over time.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
