## Description and construction

KONG® side-release buckle with slider and patented locking mechanism is incredibly strong under load 1000 kg. It is opened using two safety locks. Proper locking is accompanied by an audible click. Thanks to this revolutionary mechanism, accidental opening is prevented, and brutal strength is ensured. This type of trident is equipped with a slide buckle with a movable center at the bottom, which serves to adjust the individual strap length. The strap needs to be sewn into the upper fixed part with the hole. Enjoy this uncompromising quality in your products as well.

INFO:  for this type of buckle, a strap with a maximum thickness of up to 1.2 mm can be used. A greater strap thickness precludes the use of the slider.


## Limits and maintenance

* Handles typical outdoor conditions without issue — rain, mud, moisture, sweat. No need to dry or treat specially after every water contact.
* Reliably protects the underlying material during typical outdoor use — rain, dew, occasional wetting. May not be sufficient for permanently wet environments.
* Resists daily use even with active dogs. The surface holds its original appearance for a long time, even when in contact with straps, snaps or other hard surfaces.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
