## Description and construction

Aluminum side-release buckle made by ALU-MAX® is notable for quality workmanship, beautiful, tasteful design, and great strength. It is also durable, capable of withstanding even extreme conditions. Both pin and spring are made of stainless steel, and the buckle can be easily opened or closed with one hand. The buckle body has a straight profile. It is well suited for haberdashery (collars, harness) or canine equipment (belts, backpacks) products.

Note: Because of its small size, this buckle cannot be used with our water resistant webbings.


## Limits and maintenance

* Handles typical outdoor conditions without issue — rain, mud, moisture, sweat. No need to dry or treat specially after every water contact.
* Reliably protects the underlying material during typical outdoor use — rain, dew, occasional wetting. May not be sufficient for permanently wet environments.
* Resists daily use even with active dogs. The surface holds its original appearance for a long time, even when in contact with straps, snaps or other hard surfaces.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
