## Description and construction

COBRA® PRO STYLE aluminum buckle with Double-side Tri-Glide and patented locking mechanism. Its incredible load capacity 900 kg ranks it among the strongest aluminum safety buckles in the world. Its opening is carried out using two side brass clips. Proper locking is accompanied by a distinct clicking sound. Thanks to this revolutionary mechanism, spontaneous opening of the buckle is impossible, while at the same time the extreme strength trusted by climbers all over the world is ensured. Special cut-out on the
backside prevents dirt, dust, ice or snow from getting caught in the buckle, which increases its overall
performance and durability. This type of buckle is equipped with metal tri-glide a movable center on each side, which is used to adjust the individual length of the strap. Treat yourself to this quality without compromise in your products as well.

INFO:  for an aluminum buckle with an internal width of 38 mm, a strap with a width of up to 40 mm can be used. Proper function of the buckle is only guaranteed when used with webbings up to 3 mm thick. Greater thickness prevents the buckle from closing. For stronger webbing, over 3 mm, we recommend using the #FY38KVG buckle.

Genuine buckle tag: You can add a paper hangtag with the Cobra® logo (#HDC-COBRATAG) to this buckle, which proves to your customers that you're using an original AustriAlpin part. The manufacturer supplies these tags strictly on a 1:1 basis—meaning you can add a maximum of one tag per buckle in your order.


## Limits and maintenance

* Handles typical outdoor conditions without issue — rain, mud, moisture, sweat. No need to dry or treat specially after every water contact.
* Reliably protects the underlying material during typical outdoor use — rain, dew, occasional wetting. May not be sufficient for permanently wet environments.
* Resists daily use even with active dogs. The surface holds its original appearance for a long time, even when in contact with straps, snaps or other hard surfaces.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
